Cookie Policy
Effective Date: June 28, 2026
At Mosaic Art Books, we use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your browsing experience, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and analyze website traffic.
What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting details to the owners of the site.
How We Use Cookies
Cookies help us deliver a seamless, personalized experience. Specifically, we use cookies for:
Session Management
Keep you signed in to your account and preserve your active sessions across page reloads.
Preferences
Remember your customized editor selections, active theme preferences, and billing settings.
Performance Analytics
Analyze user behavior, monitor processing load, and measure page load speed to optimize performance.
Security Auditing
Identify potential abuse, prevent bot interactions, and secure transactions.
Types of Cookies We Use
- Essential Cookies: Required for fundamental website operations (e.g. user authentication, billing routing). Without these, the site cannot work correctly.
- Free Trial Abuse Prevention Cookie (
mab_trial_token): A secure, HttpOnly, first-party cookie issued by our server to identify a browser installation and prevent repeat unauthorized claims of the 5 free trial credits. Only a one-way cryptographic hash of the token is stored server-side. In addition, an HMAC-SHA256 hash of your normalized public network IP address is stored for 30 days to enforce our network quota of one free trial per network every 30 days. Raw IP addresses are never retained in our trial records, and expired network hashes are purged automatically. Neither cookie nor IP hashing guarantees device identification; network changes, VPNs, or cookie clearance will affect verification. Administrative support overrides are available for legitimate users sharing network environments. - Functional Cookies: Allow us to remember choices you make (such as default editor configurations or active layout grids) to enhance personalization.
- Performance Cookies: Gather information about how visitors use the site, helping us find bottlenecks and design better page flows.
Managing Your Cookies
You can manage or disable cookies by adjusting your browser settings (e.g., in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge). If you choose to reject cookies, you can still access our website, though some key interactive features (such as maintaining your login status) will not work.
